Returning to the Towne Lyne Motel for a second stay, I found the cozy New England charm just as inviting as before. the location, right on Route 1, was perfect for exploring the coastal area, with easy access to attractions like Perkins Cove and the Nubble Lighthouse. the room was comfortable and thoughtfully equipped, making our 7-night stay a relaxing one. We particularly enjoyed the peaceful river views from the back gazebos and the short distance to Footbridge Beach. the staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. the minor issues with the A/C and bed were quickly overshadowed by the overall wonderful experience. the gradual updates being made to the property promise an even more delightful stay in the future. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway on the Southern Maine coast.
